Dayna L. Himot, aka DJ Dénouement, is a product of the late eighties and early nineties underground club scene and considers herself a die hard New Englander. In the last decade, DJ Denoument has performed throughout the United States, including Fountain Bistro, Grasshopper Underground and Menjos Complex (Detroit Michigan), Club Exit in Brooklyn NY, White Heart (Portland Maine), Plush ATX in Austin, TX, and in various venues in Denver, CO such as Ved ana Nights at the former Funky Buddha, Double Daughters and The Living Room. She has opened for the Annual Caffeine/Storm Reunions in NYC. DJ Dénouement’s passion for social documentation via sound, prose, and experience was spurred at a young age and she takes pride in immersing herself in her surrounding cultural climates. She is a published journalist in both print and electronic media and is a recipient of the Mark of Excellence from the Society of Professional Journalists. DJ Denouement is also a staff writer at Metrosphere magazine and is the Met Radio’s resident house and techno DJ, hosting the weekly techno radio show “Deep Frequenciez with Dénouement” on the Met Radio.
